Every dancer who steps in front of my camera has spent years building something rarely documented, the discipline, the repetition, the quiet mornings before the day starts. I photograph that dedication as fine art, portraits made to be printed and lived with, not buried on a hard drive. Before the camera comes out, I’ll guide you through wardrobe, timing, and what the session will actually feel like, so nothing is left to chance. This is work for families who already value their dancer as an artist, and want art in their home to show it.

About the Photographer
Kathryn has been a professional photographer for over 20 years with a concentration in moving dance portraits. She is a master at using Time as a creative element in composition and expression to make portraits that are imperceptible in real time. She has studied with Lois Greenfield and has exhibited her work in the greater Boston area.
Kathryn works out of her studio in Groton, MA. In addition to fine-art dance portraits, she creates audition & portfolio shots and headshots.
