I am looking for talented Dancers!
I am choosing 10 dancers —ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz…—for a fine art dance portrait session.
Dancers must be aged 14 and above and intermediate through pre-professional to be considered.
This is an opportunity for dancers to showcase their strength, flexibility and form while they are at their peak. Beautiful portraits are a daily reminder of a dancer’s grace and power.
Skaters and gymnasts welcome too.
What is it?
Ten dancers will be chosen to join me for private sessions in my Groton, MA studio. This is not your average photo session. Kathryn Costello Photography creates museum-worthy portraits that celebrate your dancer’s passion, power, and grace.
Selected dancers will receive:
- A fully guided dance portrait session for $200 (value $400).
- A $500 credit toward any collection*.
- A potential $900 total value — yours for $200 if selected.
- Magazine keepsake that shows all the dancers and tells their story. Pick up at the final celebration.
- Final celebration.
We’ll work together to design a shoot that’s personal, expressive, and unforgettable—from wardrobe and styling to lighting and movement.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Ages 14 –20. Must love dance! No modeling experience needed but must be at ease in front of camera. Intermediate to pre-professional level. Male and female dancers, skaters and gymnasts welcome to apply. Model release required.

WHAT IS THE COST?
I require a $200 session/reservation fee which is nonrefundable This protects me from no shows and last minute cancellations. Thank you for understanding.
MODEL RELEASE
A combined model and liability release form must be signed. Images may be used for publicity purposes and/or exhibits.
About the photographer
Kathryn has been a professional portrait artist for 25 years with a concentration in moving dance and editorial portraits. She is a classically trained photographer and lighting technician. She creates gallery-worthy fine art portraits and regularly exhibits her work. She is a long-time photographer for Scott Hamilton & Friends.
