My earliest mission statement had this as a primary goal and I have brought it to my work for 18 years as a professional photographer. In addition, I make the process painless and you will probably have fun.
Many people are apprehensive about their photoshoot. It is natural. I will put you at ease quickly. Almost everyone enjoys the process more than they ever thought they could. Above all, your photos will be professional, authentic and compelling. I love putting people at ease in front of the camera. I recognize the moment when apprehension turns to trust.

Digital imagery makes my work flow so much easier. I use the instant results to help me coach people through the session. Once they see how good the photographs are they start to relax. I also appreciate the connections I make. I am in touch daily with an international network of the most awesome photographers and professionals as well as friends old and new.

I feel fortunate to have such technical training as my foundation for everything that came later. I also miss the lost art of the album cover. I thought the imagery was extraordinary. I bring that creative approach into my photography whenever I can. It’s a perfect fit for creative portraiture and story-telling images.
I rode a bicycle from Missoula to Anchorage in the Summer of 1990. And that I would live any one of those days over again, even the hardest one.
Now I want to know about YOU.
